This tour is suggested to those who wish to see all the most important sights, usually, those who are visiting Florence for the first time. It consists of a fascinating walk through the historical center of the city. The tour includes the Franciscan church of Santa Croce, known as the "Pantheon of the Italian Glories" owing to the fact that many illustrious Italians, such as Michelangelo, Galileo Galilei, Rossini and Machiavelli, are buried here. The visit also includes the religious center (the Baptistry, the Duomo and Giotto's Bell-tower), as well as the political center (Piazza della Signoria) of the city where you'll be able to see the replica of the David by Michelangelo.

Starting with the religious area of Santa Maria del Fiore we will then walk in the medieval side streets to see the typical buildings of the time: the tower houses. We will pass by Dante's house and the Bargello museum and Orsanmichele, a church, once used as a corn market, with external niches holding statues which depict the symbols of the mediaeval Florentine guilds. The tour will finish in the area of Santa Croce, the largest Franciscan basilica of Italy.
